RNA Extraction Tutorial

This video has two sections: In the first part, we explore some background theory on RNA preparation and in the second part, demonstrate the steps needed to successfully extract RNA from a sample. For the background, we discuss the differences between DNA and RNA, and a commonly used technique utilizing trizol. We examine some of key components of the extraction method and their role in assisting with the extraction of RNA. For the demonstration, we showcase proper handling techniques for extracting RNA in a step by step manner.
